Company History

In 1984 Micro-Tech Machine, Inc. was founded as a partnership named D&M Tool Company, specializing in contract machining of precision manufactured parts. The partnership dissolved in 1985, and operated as a sole proprietorship until 1986. In 1986, the company incorporated and became known as Micro-Tech Machine, Inc. moving into a newly built, 2000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Marion, NY.

With the new name and facility came new accolades. EG&G Wright Components recognized Micro-Tech Machine for Outstanding Performance in Quality, On-Time Delivery, Technical Support, and Commitment to Customer Satisfaction on September 20, 1988 and again on April 17, 1990.

However, customer recognition did not bring forth a feeling of content. Increasing demands of their customer base and the high-tech market, sent Micro-Tech into strategic planning once again. On November 1, 1991 Micro-Tech Machine broke ground in the Newark Industrial Park. Present at the ground-breaking ceremony were Newark Mayor Susie Earl, Arcadia Supervisor Tom Healy, Village Community Developmental Director Bob Goodman, Wayne Economic Development Corporation Director Barbara Harper, Industrial Park neighbor Brian Kolb of NAFCO, New York State Assemblyman Frank Talomie, and New York State Senator Paul Kehoe.  In May of 1993, the company moved into its new 7000 square foot facility.   In addition to the new facility was an expansion of capital equipment by approximately $300,000.

Once again, customer recognition followed expansion. After two years of working on their quality systems Micro-Tech Machine, Inc. reached a new level as a world class supplier. On October 25, 1996 Parker Hannifin Gas Turbine Division honored the company with their highly prestigious self-release level.  Previously the company had been recognized by Wright Components, a division of EG&G and Qualitrol Corporation, a division of Danaher Corporation, as Certified Suppliers.

Today Micro-Tech continues to realize excellent growth in the markets of Precision Turning, Milling and EDM manufacturing. Although their primary contracts are in the Aerospace Industry, they have minor contracts in the Medical, Computer, Photographic, and Automotive industries. As a World Class Supplier Micro-Tech uses state-of-the-art equipment with features that include .000010" tool offset capabilities, interchangeable turrets, live tooling, sub-spindles and hydro-bar feeders. Through the utilization of a CAD\CAM system and Windows NT computer network, they are keeping ahead of the competition, in the highly competitive Aerospace Industry.

The growth of Micro-Tech Machine Inc. has only its dedicated Employees, Suppliers and Customers to thank for all its achievements.
